BMS battery protection – protects battery from damage in extreme situations…
- Low voltage cut off – if the battery level runs to lowest capacity it will automatically shut down which means it can easily be recharged once a standard current is applied (no need for a ‘kick-start’ button or complicated restart procedure)
- Overcharge protection – battery will automatically stop accepting charge when it is at 100% capacity
- High temperature shut down – if the overheats it will temporarily shut down until the temperature is back within workable parameters
